Frontiers in Social–Ecological Urbanism

چکیده
This paper describes a new approach in urban ecological design, referred to as social–ecological urbanism (SEU). It draws from research resilience thinking and space syntax the analysis of relationships between processes form at microlevel cities, where social services are directly experienced by dwellers. The elaborates on three types media for designers intervene systems, including form, institutions, discourse, that together function significant enabler change. ends presenting four future frontiers with potential advance field urbanism: (1) density critical biodiversity thresholds, (2) human non-human movement space, (3) retrofitting (4) reversing trend illiteracy through affordance designs connect people nature each other.
